We invite you to watch the work-in-progress documentary Weaving online from Sept 20–29. A hybrid artist talk will be held on Sept 28 at 2 PM. Details and links: https://www.panvideo.net/unga-weaving.
Weaving follows artist Ludmila Christeseva and Ukrainian refugee women in Stockholm as they turn textile workshops into a sisterhood of healing and resilience. The event is co-presented with Filmshop, where Christeseva’s art is on view at House 4B, Nolan Park, Governors Island, weekends through September.
The event is part of Healing Arts Week program, a global campaign by the Jameel Arts & Health Lab in collaboration with the World Health Organization
