Caltrain x Cookies: Student Transit Event

​All ages, but especially youth and students, are invited to this snack-filled Caltrain ride in partnership with Caltrain and Silicon Valley Youth Climate Action (SVYCA).

​This event is designed to be the perfect first Caltrain ride for new transit riders. Attendees will ride the Caltrain from the Burlingame to Menlo Park station, with cookies and Caltrain swag handed out on board. At Menlo Park, attendees have the option to:

• ​Take a chaperoned trip back

• ​Tour the Model Train Association at the Menlo Park station

• ​Visit local businesses to hand out Caltrain stickers

​Caltrain will sponsor an ice cream truck at the Menlo Park train station that is free for all attendees.

​Caltrain and SVYCA chaperones will be present on all Caltrain rides and at both stations. We recommend that participants under 10 have an adult with them.

​The event is entirely FREE for attendees, with free day passes provided at the Burlingame station and free cookies and ice cream for all participants.
