The Show Up Pod: Pilot Session ✈️
You have the plan. You have the time. But 2 hours later, you're still staring at the screen, paralyzed by "friction."
Standard advice says: "Just lock in. Push through." But if you’re already overwhelmed, pushing harder doesn't work. You don't need to try harder; you need to debug the system.
Welcome to The Show Up Pod (SUP). We are a pop-up lab for the quietly ambitious. We believe that "struggling to start" isn't a character flaw. It’s just feedback. Your anxiety is telling you something—maybe the task is too big, or the steps are unclear.
We don't ignore that. We listen to it, adjust the settings, and move forward together.
The Format (90 Mins) We run a specific 3-step troubleshooting cycle:
1. The Debug: We skip the generic networking ("What do you do?") and go straight to the root cause ("Where are you blocked?"). We identify if it's perfectionism, fear, or just a lack of clarity.
2. The Sprint: We don't try to climb the whole mountain. We engineer the tiniest possible win right now. We lower the bar until it’s impossible to fail. And we do it right there, together.
3. The Plan: You don't just leave with work done. You leave with a "Next Action" strategy—a simple way to reproduce this flow when you're back home alone.
Who Belongs Here?
IHL Students (Projects/Side Hustles)
Creatives stuck on a project
Youths who are in their 'lonely chapters'
Anyone who prefers a sustainable system over brute force
The Vibe
Safe: It’s okay to admit you haven't started.
Small: We focus on progress, not perfection.
Scientific: We experiment with what works for you.
Analog or Digital: Bring your laptop to work through inertia, or just a notebook to strategize. Sometimes the best work happens offline.
Host I’m a final-year Engineering student. I started this because I realized my best work happens when I stop fighting myself and start listening to what I need. I get joy from solving problems with others. Let's figure it out together.
