About Event

Want to get more out of your robotics simulator? Looking for high-accuracy physics-based simulation (especially with soft / deformable bodies), speed, performance, scalability?

Join ‘How to Train your Robot’ - Next Generation Simulation with Vsim and ARIA, and supported by Pillar VC, to unlock potential for next generation robotic simulation.

This unique two-day hackathon is designed to be a high-impact collaboration space, and your chance to get a hands-on introduction to Vsim. Together, we'll learn best practices, share expertise and (for more advanced users) test learnings on robot hardware.

Anyone interested can apply to attend, but priority will be given to people from teams funded by ARIA’s Robot Dexterity programme.

Important Notes: Not everyone who expresses interest will be approved to join due to venue capacity. Photography and Videography may be taken at this event, if you do not consent to your image being used publicly in event pictures, please reach out to us directly.

About the organisers:

About ARIA: The Advanced Research + Invention Agency (ARIA) is an R&D funding agency created to unlock technological breakthroughs that benefit everyone. Created by an Act of Parliament, and sponsored by the Department for Science, Innovation, and Technology, ARIA funds teams of scientists and engineers to pursue research at the edge of what is scientifically and technologically possible. Vsim is one of the companies funded under ARIA’s Robot Dexterity programme, where it is developing advanced simulation capabilities to enable new techniques for designing robot hardware.

About VSIM: Vsim is an AI start-up focused on building the most efficient and accurate simulation technologies to accelerate robotics learning. Vsim's technologies enable new capabilities in physical AI by reducing training times from hours to seconds while also increasing the fidelity of simulations to new levels.
