歩行ロボットのエンジニア採用座談会｜九工大発スタートアップ Orboh

​Orboh（オルボー）は、九工大発の、北九州を本店とするスタートアップです。

​産業廃棄物の現場で動く歩行ロボットを開発しています。このミートアップは、創業メンバーと少人数で直接話せる採用イベントとして、九州工業大学 戸畑キャンパスで開催します。

​創業メンバー3人は大学卒業後すぐにアメリカで会社を立ち上げ、人の作業負荷を減らす Physical AI ロボットを、クライアント様の現場で朝から晩まで動かしながら開発してきました。大事にしているのは、ラボのデモではなく、現場で動いて役に立つロボットです。

​当日の内容

• ​会社紹介（10分程度）: これまでの現場実装と、これから作る自社ロボットについて

• ​座談会: 10〜15名ほどの少人数で、創業メンバーと直接お話しします。一方的な説明会ではなく、質問や会話が中心です

• ​実機の展示: 開発中のロボットを会場に持ち込みます

​募集している職種（正社員）

• ​産業廃棄物用の歩行ロボットのハードウェア開発エンジニア（システム統合）
  現場の要求からロボット全体を設計し、機構・電装・ソフトの統合と試験を担当します。勤務地は北九州オフィス（九州工業大学 戸畑キャンパス内）。

• ​産業廃棄物用の歩行ロボットの現場実装エンジニア
  クライアント様の現場で、データ収集・フィジカル AI モデルの学習・実機へのデプロイまでを一貫して担当します。

​どちらも経験の長さは問いません。高専・ロボコン・研究室・サークルや個人開発で、センサーやモーターを含む実機を最後まで動かした経験がある方を歓迎します。社会人経験のない方、修士・博士課程の方も対象です。

​Orboh is a startup spun out of Kyushu Institute of Technology (Kyutech), headquartered in Kitakyushu.

​We build walking robots that work on industrial waste sites. This meetup is a small hiring event at Kyutech's Tobata Campus where you can talk directly with the founding team.

​Our three founders started the company in the US right after graduating, and have been developing Physical AI robots that reduce human workload by running them on client sites from morning to night. What matters most to us is a robot that works and is useful on site, not a lab demo.

​Program

• ​Company introduction (about 10 min): our field deployments so far and the robot we are building next

• ​Roundtable: a small group of 10 to 15 people talking directly with the founders. Mostly questions and conversation, not a one-way presentation

• ​Robot demo: we will bring the robot we are developing

​Open positions (full-time)

• ​Hardware Development Engineer (System Integration), walking robots for industrial waste
  Design the whole robot from site requirements and lead integration and testing across mechanics, electronics and software. Based at our Kitakyushu office on Kyutech Tobata Campus.

• ​Field Deployment Engineer, walking robots for industrial waste
  Work on client sites and own the full cycle: data collection, Physical AI model training, and deployment to the real robot.

​Years of experience do not matter for either role. We welcome anyone who has built a real system with sensors and motors and made it work end to end, whether at a technical college, in robot contests, a research lab, a club, or personal projects. People without work experience and master's or PhD students are also welcome.

​Who should come

• ​People who can join full-time from around November 2026 to January 2027 (including those considering a job change)

• ​People who want to work on both hardware and software and get robots running on real sites

• ​People who just want to hear more first. If you are interested after the event, we will set up an individual interview
