Morning Makers: A Community Breakfast for Women Who Build
Attend our Morning Makers Community Breakfast and break bagels with fellow women who build, fix, operate, and just know how to make things work.
We're ending Climate Week by intentionally curating a diverse group of professionals working across hardware, robotics, fabrication, advanced manufacturing, and other highly specialized technical fields where women remain underrepresented.
Whether you're an engineer, designer, or work alongside a team that makes complicated things function, come ready to swap resources and meet peers doing some amazing work outside your expected silos.
The morning will feature a moderated 1:1 conversation with Suma Reddy, a serial entrepreneur and co-founder and CEO of Gather Agriculture, an agricultural robotics company developing autonomous tools designed to handle some of the most labor-intensive work on farms.
Her career has consistently sat at the intersection of agriculture, technology, and renewable energy, and her experience building companies in technically complex industries and navigating the pivots, failures, and operational realities that come with them makes her an especially relevant voice for women building and leading in hardware today.

A central part of the gathering will be a "give and ask" exchange. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask the group for help, a connection, or expertise in an area where they could use support, while also offering a skill, service, resource, or area of expertise that could benefit someone else in the room.
