slow down to speed up: 2025 year-in-review session
most of us treat december like a waiting room.
you're tired, half checked out, scrolling through everyone else’s “big year” recap… and somewhere in the back of our minds you think, “next year will be different.”
but then january hits, we dump a bunch of vague goals in a notes app or a notion doc, and life just… keeps happening. no real moment of closure and no real plan.
this session is that moment to stop and get intentional.
two hours set aside to sit with your own life — guided, structured, and not as heavy as it sounds.
we’ll spend the first part doing a gentle year in review:
i’ll bring a few themes and journaling prompts you can use
we’ll walk through the year using my favorite todoist template so your thoughts land somewhere you’ll actually see again
you’ll have quiet time to brain dump: wins, losses, plot twists, things you carried that no one really saw
(don't worry: no one is grading your year!)
after that, we’ll open it up for anyone who wants to share things like:
here’s something i’m proud of that i haven’t said out loud yet
here’s a lesson that hurt but changed how i see things
here’s how this year shifted what i want next
the goal is simple: walk out of this session feeling like you’ve actually closed the year with a clearer sense of what this season meant for you.
come with:
a notebook (or laptop)
a couple of loose themes you might want to explore (work, creativity, relationships, money, health, whatever feels alive)
your real, messy year — not the instagram version
[this session will be part 1 of two sessions. the next, on TK date, will be focused on putting these lessons and reflections into action for 2026!)
