Unreal Engine 5 Workshop
This is a one-day Unreal Engine 5 introductory workshop designed for beginners, artists, and aspiring game developers. Starting from a blank project, you'll explore the full UE5 workflow, from sculpting and lighting a scene to bringing it to life with visual scripting — and walk away with a fully playable interactive level built entirely by you.
The workshop balances concise theory with guided hands-on practice, keeping written code to a minimum so you can focus on world-building, visual design, and creative problem-solving. Wrap up the day with a Showcase & Mingle session to share your level, get feedback, and connect with fellow creators.
You will learn:
Editor navigation & interface (viewport controls, panels, project structure, and content browser)
Objects & materials (placing and transforming actors, creating and applying materials and textures)
In-engine modeling (using UE5's built-in modeling tools to shape and customize geometry without leaving the editor)
Lighting (static vs. dynamic lights, Lumen global illumination, atmosphere, and mood)
Level creation (landscape, composition, environmental storytelling, and playable space design)
Visual scripting with Blueprints (logic, triggers, interactions, and simple game mechanics — no C++ required)
Who should attend: Beginners, game developers, 3D artists, interaction designers, and anyone curious about real-time 3D — no programming background required.
