About Event

Ready to help bring plug-in solar to your state? ☀️

These mini solar panels plug directly into your wall socket, saving money and cutting planet-warming emissions right from your backyard or balcony. Eight states have already passed supporting legislation, and more are on the way. Let’s keep the ball rolling!

Drop into this virtual Hour of Action — the most productive hour of your week! We'll accomplish meaningful action within the hour. No expertise needed. Seriously, come unprepared and see what’s possible.

What to expect:

  • 5m Jargon-free introduction to the topic

  • 20m Q&A with our expert guests

  • 30m Take action! Contact your reps about bringing plug-in solar to your state.

  • 5m Feel-good wrap up

Register above and check your email or calendar for the Zoom link. 🤗

PS: We do this weekly! Whether you’ve been advocating for years or this is your first step off the sidelines, this space is for you. We meet every week — same time, same place — to turn our climate concern into collective action. See and RSVP to future Hours of Action.

👋 Meet our special guests:

  • Rep. Larry Kraft introduced a bill to unblock plug-in solar in Minnesota and is working hard to get it passed. He represents the community of St. Louis Park in Minnesota’s House of Representatives.

  • Catherine Frerker is a changemaker in Madison, Wisconsin. She’s organizing with fellow constituents to get a plug-in solar bill introduced next year, and she co-leads the Madison Action Team.

🌎 CLIMATE REALITY recruits, trains, and mobilizes people of all walks of life to work for just climate solutions that speed energy transition worldwide and open the door to a better tomorrow for us all. This Zoom is a community space, so being here means agreeing to our community guidelines. Read more about what to expect at an Hour of Action here.
