We are thrilled to welcome Ariana Reines to Landslide for an intimate reading from The Rose — her newest book to reach Australian shores.
Published by Penguin in 2026, The Rose is her newest book, following Wave of Blood, published by Divided Publishing in 2024. Both will be on the shelf.
Ariana Reines is an award-winning poet, Obie-winning playwright, performing artist, and translator. Her books include The Rose (2026), Wave of Blood (2024), and A Sand Book (2019), winner of the Kingsley Tufts Prize and longlisted for the National Book Award. She is the translator of TIQQUN's Preliminary Materials for a Theory of the Young-Girl and Baudelaire's My Heart Laid Bare, among others. Reines has created theatre and performance for Performance Space New York, The Whitney Museum, Works+Process at The Guggenheim, and many others, and has given thousands of readings and master classes around the world
