About Event

Join us for our 13th (Anniversary Edition) coffee chat hosted by the White-Hat Security Community. The anchoring topic for this month's event is:

Secure Relationships - Boundaries, Consent - and Access Control

Because of the date that this 2nd Saturday of the month falls on, we’re using the “relationships” metaphor to talk about real security fundamentals in a practical (and a little fun) way:

  • Consent: explicit access vs assumed access

  • Boundaries: - least privilege, roles, and clarity

  • Access clean-up: - revoking access and offboarding properly

  • Receipts: - logs, audits, and “who had access when?”

This is an informal and welcoming coffee chat where cyber security professionals from all backgrounds can connect, share experiences, and build lasting relationships in a relaxed atmosphere. Whether you're just starting your journey in cyber security, transitioning from another field, or you're a seasoned expert, this event is designed for anyone passionate about the world of digital security. ☁️🔒

Grab your favorite drink - whether it’s coffee, tea, matcha, or juice - and dive into meaningful conversations about industry trends, career insights, personal stories, and the challenges and opportunities shaping the cyber security landscape. This is a safe, supportive space for learning, sharing, and connecting, no matter your experience, background, or role.

Our goal is to foster a diverse, inclusive community where everyone feels valued, heard, and supported. Whether you’re seeking advice on breaking into the industry, eager to share best practices, or simply looking to connect with like-minded individuals, this is the perfect place for you.

Come for the conversation, stay for the connections! ☕🔐

Who should attend:

We look forward to seeing you there! 👀
