Hike & Lunch at Cabo Espichel

​This Sunday we’re heading to Cabo Espichel for a proper day out: a beautiful coastal hike, wide ocean views, good company, and a shared lunch after.

​It’s the kind of route that keeps things interesting all the way through. We’ll have dramatic cliffs, fresh sea air, and plenty to look at along the way, including the ruins of a 17th-century fort, the impressive religious complex at the tip of Cabo Espichel, and even dinosaur footprints.

​So yes, this one is not just about walking, it’s a bit of a mini Sunday adventure. And because a good hike gets even better with good people, we’ll make space for easy conversations, a few laughs, and the kind of moments that make you glad you said yes to getting out of the city.

​🥾 The hike
We’ll do a circular route starting from Azoia at 10:00.
The hike is moderately challenging: around 14.6 km, 487 m elevation gain, and about 4.5-5 hours at a relaxed, social pace.

​🍽️ After the hike
After the walk, we’ll go for a shared lunch nearby and enjoy a slow ending to the day together.

​💡 Guided conversations
Usually, conversations on our hikes flow naturally. This time, we’ll take it one step deeper by choosing a theme to explore together — sharing experiences, perspectives, and different ways of seeing life.

​🚗 Getting there
We’ll meet at 9:00 in Alcântara, next to Pingo Doce, and from there we’ll share an Uber or rides to the starting point.
The hike starts at 10:00 in Azoia.
