Agentic Software Development: Rethinking Agile Delivery and Team Collaboration
Agentic Software Development: Rethinking Agile Delivery and Team Collaboration
This week’s session will be hosted by Ashwek Ouerghi, Full Stack Engineer at Seneca.
Agentic software development explores how AI agents can take on more autonomous roles across the software development lifecycle, from understanding requirements and planning tasks to writing code, testing, debugging, and reviewing changes.
This shift raises important questions about how traditional Agile workflows and team collaboration should evolve. Instead of AI being used only as a coding assistant, development teams can work alongside agents that independently execute tasks, coordinate across different stages of development, and continuously interact with developers.
The session will explore what agentic development means in practice, how it can reshape developer responsibilities and team workflows, and what changes may be needed in the way teams plan, collaborate, review, and deliver software.
