Bake Sale for a Good Cause
BAKING FOR A GOOD CAUSE 🍰🍪
What if 33 CEMS Clubs around the world joined forces to protect the Amazon rainforest? And what if it all started with a few brownies in Vienna?
That's exactly what we're planning! We're kicking off the CEMS Rainforest Challenge, a global initiative aiming to protect at least 30,000 m² of Amazon rainforest by summer 2027. We'll be challenging CEMS Clubs around the world to organise their own fundraisers, and we want Vienna to set the bar high! 💪🌍
Our first mission? A Charity Bake Sale at WU Vienna! Every euro raised will go to Wilderness International (https://wilderness-international.org/de/en/become-active/protect-the-rainforest/), a non-profit organisation that purchases and protects rainforest in Peru. And the best part? €1 protects 1 m² of rainforest! 💚
👩🍳Calling all CEMS bakers
Whether you're a brownie expert, a cookie enthusiast or simply willing to give baking a try, we need you! The more treats we bring to the table, the more rainforest we can help protect. Let's show the other CEMS Clubs what Vienna can do! We'll reimburse your costs up to €5 and feature your treats at the bake sale table. Feel free to add your baked good to this list: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vzr9bGfTjGopb86Kc1I7j_wquoKgECuxWPBr2fwW8go/edit?usp=sharing
💬 Not much of a baker? No problem! We also need volunteers to help sell our treats. Just register here on Luma if you'd like to lend a hand.
