SAWN Book Club: Meet the Author of Leave and Come Back (In-Person Event)

​Welcome to SAWNs Book Club! A book club for South Asian women, by South Asian Women.

​This space was created intentionally for South Asian-identifying women to gather, reflect, connect, and grow—through stories that move us and conversations that stay with us long after the last page.

​This isn’t just a book club. It’s a community for thoughtful dialogue, meaningful friendships, and the kind of conversations we don’t always get to have in our everyday lives. Together, we’ll explore books by South Asian authors and beyond — stories that challenge us, comfort us, inspire us, and reflect the many layers of who we are.

​Whether you’re an avid reader or just looking for a space that feels warm, welcoming, and deeply intentional, you belong here.

​✨**Important: To reserve your spot, a $10 deposit is required. Please note: This is a FREE event. The deposit is simply a way for us to make sure spots are reserved for members who are committed to attending. You’ll get your full deposit back when you attend the meeting!**✨

​At this event, we will be speaking to author, Lavanya Lakshmi, about her incredible debut novel, LEAVE AND COME BACK. Be sure to bring your book to get it signed, along with all your questions!
