STEPS Monthly Meet-up - "Repair"
These monthly meet-ups are for sharing new ideas, experiments, events and more. Each month there will be one-word theme.
This month that theme is Repair.
Ahead of the call, we invite you to sit with this question:
What is something (anything!) you’ve mended recently?
It could be an object, a relationship, a habit, a space – whatever comes to mind.
If you’d like, you can add a few words or a picture related to your “mend” on our Miro board before we meet, so we already arrive surrounded by your ideas.
----
How do we design spaces and experiences with room for repair? What role can regenerative practice play in supporting that process of mending? When we repair something, is it restored to it's original or is it transformed into something new? And when we add re- (as in (re)generate, (re)imagine, (re)new) are we creating space for tending and repair, or are we inviting a complete beginning again?
These are some of the questions circling in our minds as we think about how to meet this moment – a time when tearing, breaking, and rupture might be felt in the messy and complex places that are our neighborhoods, our cities and towns, and our daily conversations.
It will be stewarded by Esther Hayes Grossman & John V Willshire.

The STEPS Collective is a community of regenerative practice that exists to help Show The Easy Place to Start (aka STEPS) through sharing provocations that get people thinking, feeling, doing and making in the regenerative space.
Our community stewards are currently Dr. Rob Phillips, Esther Hayes Grossman, Lizzie Shupak, Andy Thornton and John V Willshire.
