Anthropic, 서울시, 서울 AI 허브, 여섯 곳의 VC, 그리고 Bloom 커뮤니티가 함께합니다.
아침 9시, 서울 AI 허브에 150명이 모입니다. 참가는 2~4인 팀으로 하시지만 신청과 승인은 한 분씩 개인 단위로 이뤄집니다. 팀으로 오시더라도 팀원 한 분 한 분이 각자 이 페이지에서 신청해 주셔야 합니다. 아직 팀이 없으셔도 신청하실 수 있고, 승인 이후 Bloom 디스코드의 전용 채널에서 팀을 꾸리시게 됩니다. 미션은 행사 시작과 함께 공개되며, 예를 들면 '미국 지식노동자 프리랜서를 위한 서비스'와 같은 형태입니다.
참여자 전원에게 인당 500달러 상당의 Claude 크레딧이 지급됩니다. 150명 전원에게 나가는, 하루에 총 75,000달러 상당의 크레딧입니다. 모두가 같은 자원으로 얼마나 높은 가치를 만들어내는지가 이 해커톤의 단 하나의 평가 기준입니다.

⚡ 진행 방식
제출은 선착순입니다.
당일에는 오후 5시까지 제출 창구가 열려 있습니다. 제출하실 것은 데모 링크와 2장 이내의 발표 자료 두 가지입니다. 제출한 순서대로 VC가 바로 1차 심사를 하고, 통과한 팀이 8팀에 이르면 그 자리에서 마감합니다. 일찍 내셨더라도 준비가 부족하면 통과하지 못하고, 충분히 준비하셨더라도 이미 8팀이 찼다면 들어가실 수 없습니다. 남은 자리는 스크린에 실시간으로 표시되며, 모두가 몇 팀이 남았는지 보면서 개발하십니다.
제출 기회는 팀당 한 번입니다. 한 번 내신 것으로 심사를 받으시고, 다시 내실 수 없습니다.
통과하지 못하셨거나 이미 8팀이 찬 경우, 대회는 거기서 끝납니다. 다만 저녁 데모데이는 그대로 함께 보실 수 있습니다.
저녁에는 샤크탱크가 열립니다.
결선에 오른 8팀이 VC 여섯 곳 앞에서 발표하고, 여섯 곳이 한자리에서 함께 심사합니다. 모든 팀이 매칭되는 것은 아닙니다.

이번 해커톤이 열리는 공간이자, 서울시가 만든 국내 최대 규모의 AI 전문 지원기관입니다. 서울대학교와 한국전자통신연구원(ETRI)이 공동 운영하며, 2024년 5월 양재동에 연면적 10,020제곱미터 규모의 앵커시설을 열었습니다. 지금까지 360여 개 기업을 입주와 멤버십으로 지원했고, 이들이 만들어낸 매출과 투자 유치는 각각 3,600억 원대입니다.

Bloom은 AI 얼리어답터를 위한 커뮤니티입니다. AI 시대에 마주하는 불안(Blue)에서 함께 피어남(Bloom)으로 나아가고 싶다는 공통의 고민에서 시작됐고, AI를 먼저 써본 실무자와 창업가들끼리의 대화, 네트워킹, 밋업을 만들고 지원하는 것을 미션으로 합니다.

안내드립니다
참가비는 무료이며 사전 신청 후 승인제로 운영합니다. 신청은 10월 22일(목) 오후 7시에 마감합니다. Claude 크레딧 지급 정책에 따라 만 18세 이상만 참가하실 수 있습니다. 신청서에 적어주신 내용은 승인 검토와 당일 운영에만 씁니다.
모든 팀이 같은 조건에서 겨루도록, 지급해 드리는 Claude 크레딧 500달러 안에서만 작업하셔야 합니다. 크레딧을 다 쓰셨더라도 개인 계정이나 회사 계정으로 이어서 쓰실 수 없습니다.
현장에서 사진을 촬영합니다. 사진작가가 개발 과정과 데모데이를 기록하며, 행사 기록과 홍보에 사용됩니다. 신청 시 촬영 동의를 함께 받습니다.
장소는 지하철 3호선과 신분당선 양재역 10번 출구에서 오실 수 있습니다.
Ambition for Korea, a one day hackathon for Korea's AI builders who are serious about going global
Hosted together by Anthropic, the Seoul Metropolitan Government, Seoul AI Hub, six venture capital firms, and the Bloom community.
150 people gather at Seoul AI Hub at 9 AM. You take part as a team of 2 to 4, but applications and approvals are handled one person at a time. Even if you come as a team, every member has to apply on this page individually. You can apply without a team, and after approval you will find teammates in a dedicated channel on the Bloom Discord. The mission is revealed when the event starts, and it will look something like a service for knowledge worker freelancers in the US.
Every participant receives $500 worth of Claude credits. Across all 150 builders that is $75,000 worth of credits released in a single day. Everyone works with the same resources, and the single criterion is how much value you create with them.

⚡ How it works
Submission is first come first served.
On the day, the submission window is open until 5 PM. You submit a demo link and a deck of no more than two slides. VCs screen each submission in the order it arrives, and the queue closes the moment 8 teams have passed. Submitting early will not help if the work is not ready, and being ready will not help if 8 teams are already through. The remaining slots are shown on screen in real time, so everyone builds while watching how many are left.
Each team gets one submission. What you submit is what gets judged, and you cannot submit again.
If you do not pass, or if the 8 slots are already taken, your run in the competition ends there. You are still welcome to stay and watch the evening demo day.
The evening is a shark tank.
The 8 finalist teams present to the six VC firms, who judge together in the room. Not every team gets matched, and the teams that do move on to a one on one meeting for actual investment review.

You want to ship something within a hard limit of time and resources, and be judged by real VCs
The application asks for a link to the work that best represents you, and one or two sentences on what you want to build for the global market. We approve based on those two answers.

Anthropic is the AI frontier lab behind the AI assistant Claude. It started in San Francisco in 2021 and is known for taking safety as seriously as capability. For this hackathon Anthropic runs a session and provides Claude credits to every participant.
About the Seoul Metropolitan Government (Website)
Within the Seoul Metropolitan Government, the AI Strategic Industry Division is the team that grows the city's AI ecosystem. It supports company growth, talent development and overseas expansion, and it is the division that built the Seoul AI Hub. For this event it joins as sponsor and gives the opening remarks.
About Seoul AI Hub (Website)
Seoul AI Hub is both the venue for this hackathon and Korea's largest AI support institution, built by the City of Seoul. It is jointly operated by Seoul National University and ETRI, and its anchor facility of 10,020 square meters opened in Yangjae in May 2024. It has supported more than 360 companies through residency and membership, and those companies have generated revenue and raised investment on the order of 360 billion won each.

Bloom is a community for AI early adopters. It started from a shared question, how to move from the anxiety of the AI era (Blue) to growing together (Bloom), and its mission is to create and support conversation, networking and meetups among practitioners and founders who use AI first.
Our first event in April drew 2,100 applications within three days of opening, and since then we have run more than forty events with over 7,500 people taking part, alongside Nebius, NVIDIA, Snowflake, Microsoft, Oracle, AWS, Adobe, Datadog, Higgsfield, Airwallex and Genspark. Join us on Discord.
Before you apply
Free to attend, by application and approval. Applications close at 7 PM on Thursday, October 22. In line with the Claude credit policy, participants must be 18 or older. What you write in the application is used only for review and for running the day.
So that every team works under the same conditions, you build within the $500 of Claude credits we provide. If you run out, you cannot continue on a personal or company account.
Photos are taken at the event. A photographer documents the building and the demo day, and the photos are used to record and promote the event. We collect photo consent in the application.
The venue is reachable from Yangjae Station exit 10 on Subway Line 3 and the Shinbundang Line.
