AAIF Community Dhaka: Open Agent Stack
AI agents are everywhere, but most only work inside the product that made them. The Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF), the Linux Foundation’s home for open agent standards, is changing that. In this session we show how its projects fit together, live on one stage.
What you’ll see
MCP (Model Context Protocol) — the open standard that connects agents to tools and data. We’ll build an MCP server and call it from different agents.
AGENTS.md — a simple file that tells any coding agent how your repo works: the stack, the rules and what “done” means. Write it once and every agent follows it.
Agent Skills — packaged know-how in a SKILL.md file that an agent loads when it needs it. We’ll write one skill and reuse it across the demo.
goose — an open-source agent that connects to MCP servers. We’ll use it to drive the finished project and show the same server working with any agent.
Linux Foundation Code of Conduct
AAIF runs under the Linux Foundation. Every participant agrees to the LF Events Code of Conduct and LF Privacy Policy — the one shared standard for every room (organizers, speakers, hosts, members, and attendees).
I have read and agree to the Linux Foundation Code of Conduct, Linux Foundation Privacy Policy.
