Children's Storytime: Everything We Need- a zero waste story
Join us for Storytime and San Diego's brand new Reuse and Repair Collective- a community space that promotes sustainability and zero waste.
Local author Simone Fraid will share a reading of her book Everything We Need, which shares themes of community, sharing, reuse, and resilience through the lens of a magician who brings the fun in these concepts to life. Kids will also have a chance to color some pages from the book.
About The Reuse and Repair Collective
Zero Waste San Diego (18 years of sustainability leadership) has opened its first brick-and-mortar hub: the Reuse & Repair Collective. As an extension of the 9-year Fixit Clinic, this downtown space is the home for sustainable events - panels, workshops, film screenings, and more. The Collective Event Manager, Sophie, will be on site at the event and is happy to offer tours of the building following the event.

• Free street parking: 2-hour free parking is available on Beech St & 6th Ave.
• Meters: Many paid parking meters are available nearby.
• ACE Parking: $25 daily parking available at nearby ACE Parking lots.
• Public transit: We’re just a short walk from the trolley and several bus routes.
• Bikes: Free bike storage is available onsite for event attendees.
