About Event

CAMentrepreneurs and Innovate Cambridge invite you to the next Open Coffee Cambridge event on 27th March 2026, with events occurring monthly on the 3rd Friday of each month.

Join us for the next Open Coffee Cambridge with special guest Michelle Tempest, doctor, investor, and healthcare strategist. Linkedin.

Michelle is a Partner at Candesic, a Cambridge Angel, and a former hospital doctor and psychiatrist. She works with investors, healthcare providers, and MedTech companies on strategy, growth, and innovation.


The discussion will be followed by informal networking, a relaxed opportunity to ask questions, share ideas, and connect over coffee. Whether you’re a founder, researcher, investor, or simply curious about the ecosystem, Open Coffee is your space to connect, collaborate, and be inspired.

On the day, guests will have the chance to sample Biscotti Di Debora’s creations and learn more about Debora’s journey as a business owner in Cambridgeshire.
Biscotti Di Debora was founded by Debora Bonnes, a professionally trained Italian pâtissier who brought her craft to Cambridgeshire and built a business rooted in authentic Italian baking.

From her Dry Drayton bakery, Debora and her team create distinctive Italian celebration cakes, pasticcini, Italian wedding cakes, croquembouche towers and more, all guided by a philosophy of real flavour and beautiful texture.

Open Coffee Cambridge is an informal networking event for entrepreneurs, professionals, students, and members of the startup community in collaboration with Innovate Cambridge, it’s a place to find mentors, investors, clients, collaborators, and inspiration through combining the CamEntrepreneurs network and the members of Innovate Cambridge’s The Glasshouse.​This event is based on the Open Coffee Ericeira/ Krakow/ Lisbon/ Sydney /Warsaw format, run by Richard Lucas and others in since 2013.
