Beverly Hills Vice Mayor Mary Wells will open the evening with welcoming remarks. The conversation will be moderated by Shahab Mirzai.

​The conversation will explore Thomas’s journey from CAA to building Coatue, how he thinks about investing through major technological shifts, and his perspective on AI, private markets, and the future of technology.

​ABOUT THOMAS LAFFONT

​Thomas Laffont is the Co-Founder of Coatue. He leads the firm’s private investment platforms across both early-stage and growth, partnering with some of the most enduring and impactful companies of the last two decades.

​Thomas began his career at Creative Artists Agency in Los Angeles, where he represented artists in Motion Picture and Television. Thomas holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Yale College and lives in California.
