Photography Is… Sitting with Emotions - From Lens to Self Festival 2026
Some experiences need to be noticed and felt before they can be explained. An image can give them a form, making room for different and sometimes contradictory emotions: longing, joy, anger, tenderness, desire, loss or uncertainty. In this workshop, you will explore photography as a space for emotional attention.
Through simple exercises, you will look for images that bring you closer to what you feel, allowing shapes, details, colours and associations to guide the exploration.
You will then spend time with the photograph you have chosen and reflect on what it helps you recognise or express. The session offers a guided creative setting in which each person decides what to photograph and what to share.
