Creatives Connection

​​Do you spend your days chasing deadlines, tweaking client revisions, and turning creativity into currency? What about those projects that don’t pay the bills — the ones that fill your soul instead?

​​Creatives Connection is a quarterly gathering designed to carve out space for exactly that. It’s a laid-back, small group evening where professional creatives can come together to work on the things that light us up — not just the work that pays the rent.

​​Whether you’re bringing a sketchbook, embroidery hoop, collage supplies, or a long-abandoned passion project, this is a night for reclaiming your creative energy. Client work is welcome (we get it, survival is real), but the spirit of the evening is about taking back our time and reconnecting with what makes us want to create in the first place.

​Our charitable host location is Prismajic. This creative, cozy, communal, and cathartic space might be just the change of scenery that you need to get the creative juices flowing. Located in Lakewood's Colorado Mills, their bar has various food and drink options and we request that each participant purchase something to thank our host for letting us use the space.

​Expect some nerdy industry talk, light venting about AI and burnout, and a lot of laughter and encouragement.

​​What to bring: Bring whatever materials you need for your project. Sam (your host) will bring some generic crafting supplies to share, but it’s best to come prepared with your own.

​​When: Start time is officially at 4pm, but it’s a show up whenever you can type of event. Just let your host know.
