SciSure Talks: Sustainable Lab Practices in collaboration with My Green Lab & Amsterdam Science Park

​Join us for the second NL edition of SciSure Talks, dedicated to Sustainable Lab Practices, in collaboration with My Green Lab and Amsterdam Science Park & supported by Amsterdam Chemistry Network (ChemistryNL).

Sustainability in the lab can take many forms, and there is rarely one right approach. We are inviting the lab community to explore what sustainable lab management looks like in action. This evening will offer practical insights, shared experiences and ideas for embedding sustainability into everyday lab management while keeping science and performance at the core.

What to expect:

• Two talks addressing sustainable lab management at different levels, with sessions from Manon Bezemer, Head of Purpose and Impact Management at Winclove Probiotics, and Joep Sprangers, Sustainable Lab Coordinator at UMC Utrecht, connecting the wider sustainability landscape with the realities of implementation in a research environment.

• An interactive workshop led by SciSure, where you will look beyond standard approaches, share which sustainability opportunities could work within your specific lab context, including what can enable progress and what might stand in the way. You will leave with new perspectives and ideas to take back to your own organization.

• Networking drinks to connect and continue the conversation with peers from across the Dutch laboratory and life sciences community.
