​​​​At our Dinners at home, our members will have the chance to gather in homes with a private chef to discuss a single question that matters.

​​Our Guiding Question for the evening: How do you protect your energy around people who drain it?

​What does “protecting your energy” actually mean in real life - at work, in friendships, in family dynamics, in romantic relationships?

​Is it about boundaries? Communication? Distance? Self-awareness? Compassion?

​And how do we recognise the difference between someone truly draining us and something within us being activated?

​This is not a dinner about cutting people off. It’s about discernment. Emotional responsibility. And learning how to stay open without feeling depleted. Expect meaningful conversation, thoughtful prompts, and the kind of atmosphere where honesty feels safe and welcome.

Chris Gammill touched down in Portugal to learn the language and live the local vibe. A Californian dreamer with a global spirit, Chris devours spicy food and dodges iscas like a pro. As an educator, Chris co-founded Lighthouse Language School with two Portuguese partners to help crack the Portuguese language barrier — focusing on real communication and deep comprehension. Learning Portuguese isn’t easy, but we fazemos das tripas coração — turn challenges into courage and have a lot of fun along the way!
