Join Altea members and friends for a relaxed evening in Chippendale, Sydney, featuring a guided whisky tasting and casual conversation in a stunning library-style private venue.
This is an intimate gathering of Sydney-based investors, community members, and special guests in a unique space that’s filled floor to ceiling with books, character, and warmth. Think rustic warehouse meets literary lounge.
We’ll enjoy a curated whisky tasting experience led by a local expert starting at 6pm, with a focus on rare and interesting bottles. Taste up to 6 different types of whiskies - these are all 'unique' and not available in local bottle shops.

Hart Brothers linkwood 10 yo - distilled 1998 bottled 2008 - ex bourbon cask
Glenkinchie 27 year old - diageo special release 2023 - lowland region
St bridget kirk cask #2 - 20 year old blended malt - ex sherry cask, blended malt
Bunnahabhain 8 year old - north star 2013 - oak barrel release - unpeated islay sherry
Orkey 14 year old :" highland park" - lady of the glen - ex olossoro , moderate peat island whisky
Laphroigh 10 year old sherry cask - heavily peated and different style
There’s no food component — just great drinks, a beautiful venue, and even better company.
