About Event

Raising capital can unlock a startup’s potential. Done poorly, it can consume months of a founder’s time and put the entire company at risk.

The challenge is that fundraising involves far more than building a great pitch deck.

A successful fundraise requires a clear story, a thoughtful process, a strong investor pipeline, and the discipline to manage that pipeline from the first introduction through the final close.

In this free workshop, Mike Lewis will break down the method behind running a professional fundraise. He will cover frameworks including “The 28 Questions All Investors Ask” and the “Minimum Viable Investor Funnel,” giving founders a practical way to prepare for and manage a raise at any stage of the startup journey.

Whether your company is barely off the ground or well beyond product market fit, you will leave with a clearer understanding of what investors need to believe and how to build a fundraising process around it.

Please leave the recording bots at home. This is a live workshop, not a content farm.

Meet Mike Lewis

Over the last 20 years, Mike has founded and successfully exited three startups.

He founded Qloud, an on demand music streaming service that grew to more than 10 million monthly unique visitors. He later founded Kapost, a B2B SaaS company that reached more than $13 million in revenue and grew to over 100 employees. His most recent company, Onward, was a ride sharing service for seniors that partnered with hospitals and medical facilities.

Mike also served as Head of Product for Airbnb for Work and Airbnb Luxe. During his time at Airbnb, his department grew bookings from zero to more than $1 billion in two and a half years.

Today, Mike is a General Partner at Enjoy The Work, where he helps founders build stronger teams, ship better products, develop repeatable sales motions, and raise capital.
