​About Latinxs in Sustainability and Latino Outdoors

​Latinxs in Sustainability is made up of a group of professionals determined to address and reduce the barriers that have led the environmental and climate field to be among the least ethnically and racially diverse across all disciplines. Our goal is to establish and facilitate pathways for underrepresented and under-resourced Latinx communities in an effort to diversify the sustainability workforce.

​Latino Outdoors is a Latine-led organization that supports a national community of leaders in outdoor recreation, conservation, and environmental education. With an eye towards celebrating and expanding the Latine outdoor experience and bolstering the broader outdoor movement, we provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities, while amplifying oft-overlooked cultural connections and narratives.
