Who said you have to wait until Friday night to dance with strangers? A coffee rave is basically an afterhour, except you slept eight hours, made zero questionable decisions, and somehow still end up dancing before work.
On November 13, Vienna Würstelstand is taking over Goldener Papagei in Vienna’s 2nd district for two hours of coffee, dancing, ridiculous conversations and hopefully a few new friendships.
And yes, it starts at 7am.
We know. We’re setting multiple alarms too — especially on Friday the 13th. But we’ve heard bad luck can’t find you if you’re up before it.
Coffee in your hand. DJ on the decks.
Rosa Rosen will be providing the soundtrack while you sip your coffee, shake off the sleep and dance your way into the day.
Come for some music before work. Come for the coffee. Come because your usual morning routine of staring at strangers on the U-Bahn could use an upgrade.

We’re bringing Not Born Here Bingo — a little game designed to get you talking to people you haven’t met yet.
Find someone who’s lived in three countries. Someone who’s still confused by Austrian bureaucracy. Someone who speaks four languages but still panics when the cashier asks, “Sackerl?”
The point isn’t really to win Bingo.
It’s to make strangers less strange in a city where making the first move can sometimes feel like an extreme sport.

This one’s for internationals and internationally minded locals who want to start the day with coffee, music and actual human interaction.

Dress code: Whatever you usually wear at 7am. Pyjamas might be pushing it. Or maybe not.
Food & beverages: Coffee, matcha and pastries available to buy at the bar, not included in the ticket price
Accessibility: The venue is barrier-free and wheelchair accessible.
