About Event

The Recalc Finance Accelerator is designed to help ambitious, intellectually curious college students and recent graduates begin their careers in private equity, growth equity, private credit, and investment banking. We are committed to expanding access to private equity careers by equipping high-potential candidates from underrepresented backgrounds in the finance industry—particularly those with limited exposure to traditional recruiting pathways—with the skills and mentorship needed to succeed.

The Accelerator is an intensive program combining live technical training (accounting, excel, modeling, business analysis) with mentorship, community, and recruiting support. Our participants regularly secure internships and full-time roles at top-tier alternative investment firms and investment banks.

When do applications for the next cohort open?

Applications for the Fall 2025 Finance Accelerator program will open directly following the info session on September 2nd. In order to apply for the program, it is mandatory to attend the info session live or watch the recording.

Who is it for?

The program is tailored for college students recruiting for internships and analyst roles.  The program will help prepare you for your next career step:

  • Sophomore - Internship recruiting

  • Junior/Senior - Private equity analyst recruiting

What background do I need in order to apply?

Applicants do not need to be pursuing a finance degree or have prior finance work experience - this program is designed to be a launchpad for your career in finance.  However, we will be screening for outstanding work ethic and a track record in analytically-oriented coursework or job experience.  If you are a junior/senior, preference will be given for analytically-oriented internship experience (consulting, accounting, banking, engineering, investing, or related - does not specifically need to be investment banking).

How much does it cost?

The program does not cost anything to participants.  However, the program requires a significant commitment, and applicants will be asked to sign an agreement committing to their full participation in the program.  Any participant not fully committed to the program will be asked to leave.
