The Drawing Board: A Youth Climate Solutions Lab - Global Shapers Sydney & Istanbul x World Energy Council Türkiye

Four tables, four real climate briefs from young people across Malaysia, Samoa, Australia and Türkiye. Pick one, dig in, help solve it.

Most climate events are all talk. This is one is hoping to be different.

This is a solutions lab, not a panel. You get handed a real climate problem by a young person who actually lives it, then you roll up your sleeves and work out a fix together. Think a writers’ room for climate: quick, hands-on, a little bit messy, and built to actually go somewhere.

The room splits across four tables, each with a real brief from a different part of the world:

🇲🇾 Malaysia - Global Shapers Kuala Lumpur Hub
🇼🇸 Samoa - Global Shapers Apia Hub
🇦🇺 Australia - Global Shapers Australia (Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide & Perth)
🇹🇷 Türkiye — Global Shapers Istanbul & the World Energy Council Türkiye

At each table sits the person who wrote the brief, your subject-matter expert, guiding the group through the problem and toward something real.

Here’s the thing: we don’t want perfect. We want fast, honest, brains-on problem-solving, and solutions that actually carry forward beyond the room. Pick a table, dig in, and help solve something that matters.

Come think hard, think fast, and build something real.
