About Event

Buddhist art can be appreciated for its beauty and historical importance, but it can also be approached as a form of teaching.

With the guidance of a meditation teacher, we will look closely at selected works in the Asia Society’s collection. Together, we will explore how they express central themes of Buddhist practice, such as wisdom, compassion, concentration, and awakening.

Rather than offering a general gallery tour, this program invites us to ask: What does Buddhist art show us about the path of practice? How can we learn to look in a way that is attentive, contemplative, and informed by the Dharma?

Spots are very limited. Please sign up only if you are committed to attending, so that spaces remain available for those who are able to come. If your plans change after registering, please cancel your registration or contact us as soon as possible.
