dream sessions: clothing & climate justice (ft. Jordan Sings)
Make friends who care about stuff at Soapbox Portland, the city's most fun community space for climate action! Plant-based dinner is included.
We're having a party for people who care about the planet. Same time, same place, every week. You're invited. Every event we put on includes dinner, facilitation, and vibes. Soapbox Project believes finances should never act as a barrier for folks to participate in our events. Please select the ticket price that best suits your financial situation or reach out for a free ticket (no questions asked) by emailing [email protected]. P.S. This ticket is tax-deductible and can be matched by your employer (and as a small nonprofit, we need all the help we can get).
Every first Tuesday of the month, Soapbox Project presents Dream Sessions, an evening of food, live music from a diverse range of local artists, conversations, and new connections.
This month, we're looking at climate, labor, and human rights through the lens of the clothes we wear.
The plan
5:00 pm | doors open, dinner available

5:45~7 pm | our moderator and artist will weave together music and a conversation about how to create the change to you want to see in the world. This isn’t just entertainment; it's an interactive experience ✨
7-8 pm | the vibes will continue; pick up the conversation with new people and make friends
Please arrive by 5:30pm so you have time to eat before the programming begins.
About the artist: Jordan Sings
Cutting his teeth as a street performer in Portland, Oregon, Jordan Sings has perfected his own brand of singer-songwriter pop. With influences from Ed Sheeran, John Mayer and Tracy Chapman, Jordan combines raw life stories with catchy and inviting arrangements.
Jordan has made a name for himself captivating passersby's in the Portland International Airport as part of the music and arts program at PDX. His original music is moving and has been described as a hug from an old friend. When its time to bring the energy however, Jordan can switch it up and create a fun and upbeat vibe performing tasteful cover songs with the addition of his looper pedal. Whatever the setting, Jordan will have listeners engaged and thoroughly enjoying themselves.
