Imaginarium: An intimate working dinner ft. Nate Hagens
(Tickets will be allocated on a lottery based system)
This is a space a container for collective creativity where 15 carefully curated systems thinkers, feelers, and do’ers will be invited to come and play with Nate Hagens - host of The Great Simplification.
This facilitated experience, designed by Rachel Brown, will help you wield your experiences, passions, skills, and minds to unlock pathways towards building a future-proof world for ourselves, our neighborhoods, and our communities.
This is an interactive exercise featuring creative constraints, simple rules, strange assets, and inspiration from whatever the world around us hands over. First, we will generate as many possibilities as we can - then we narrow it down together and pull coherence out of it.
We use fiction to get there, because fiction lets us skip past what is currently practical.
This is part of an ongoing weekly inquiry, hosted by the Dear Crisis community that seeks to weave, build, and nurture Islands of Coherence within New York City.
Since limited spaces are available, spots will be distributed by both lottery and curation.
A larger “salon” is also available for folks to attend.
Evening Flow:

5:00 PM The container closes, and the journey begins.
7:00 PM Attendees are invited to leave the space and mingle in the front room.
