About Event

Community gardens are an essential piece of our urban infrastructure, with a unique role to play in a regenerative future.

Join community garden practitioners from across NYC (and beyond!) to learn how they are adapting and building resilient futures. We'll swap stories, explore ways to make gardens more connected and inclusive, and collectively envision a network of gardens sitting at the intersection of food, mutual aid, and climate adaption.

We’ll be joined by three brilliant NYC food and community garden leaders to help us dig into what’s working today, and what we might want to grow next: Anthony Reuter, Assistant Director of Programs at NYC Parks GreenThumb;  Daniela Sweet-Coll, Co-founder of the BJH Garden Club; and Ena McPherson, who has founded and led gardens across Central Brooklyn since 2003.

We ask that all participants either purchase food or provide a small donation to support our restaurant partner, Caravan of Dreams.

Waitlist Update: We continue to have a full room, but anticipate having a few spots for waitlist members on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you’d like to try for a seat, please come early to add your name to the in-person waitlist (coming early also comes with the benefit of meeting other folks from the community — always fun!)
