About Event

With Rabbi Joseph Ozarowski

See his bio here.

Aninut is the Jewish ritual grief stage between the time of death and the funeral. But many people do not know about it. We will be doing a dive into the Biblical source of Aninut from a dramatic story in the Torah, a look at the halacha, psychology and ethics of Aninut, and also have a conversation about how to apply the traditional teachings of Aninut in community settings as well as situations beyond the original halachic parameters.
