​Join Mysten Labs’ Software Engineer, Tony, for a walkthrough of DeepBook Predict, a prediction market protocol built on Sui. In this workshop, you'll learn how to go from zero to placing your first trade.

  • ​What DeepBook Predict is - trading directional bets and volatility positions on underlying assets with fixed expiration dates

  • ​Core building blocks - how the Predict vault, your PredictManager account, and oracle-driven market pricing fit together

  • ​Placing trades - minting and redeeming directional positions (up/down bets on a strike) and vertical ranges (spreads between two strike levels)

  • ​Market lifecycle - how oracles move from active to expiry to settlement, and what that means for when and how you trade

  • ​Providing liquidity - supplying quote assets to earn PLP shares and a proportional claim on vault value
