Global Youth Imagination Day — Online
One day. The next generation of leaders. Over 60 countries.
Before anyone can build a better future, someone has to imagine it first.
The world is changing quickly. AI is becoming part of how we live, learn, work, create, connect and imagine what's possible. But young people are still not meaningfully included in the conversations shaping this change.
On 1 October, that changes. Young people from across the world come together online to shape what the future deserves. This is your invitation to add your voice.
This is the opening day of the Deeply Human Summit. The next morning, leaders from the UN, UNESCO, OECD, IEEE, the Council of Europe, the Club of Rome, MIT Media Lab, IKEA, SAP, Microsoft and Oxford University gather in Paris. Before any of them speak, they listen to you.
A day designed for you
🌍 The World is Listening. Voices from the Global Youth Imagination Lab open the day. Young people from over 60 countries have already told us what excites them, what worries them, what "good" with AI would look like and what messages they would like to send to leaders.
🧠 Imagination Rooms. You join a small group, work with facilitators and turn ideas into something concrete.
🎤 Leaders respond. A handful of leading institutions, including voices from IEEE will hear what you say and commit to action.
✉️ The Youth Dispatch. Together we write the message that leaders from technology, policy, academia and research in Paris need to hear. It is delivered to the summit the next day, and organisations are invited to make public commitments in response.
You do not need to be an expert in AI or technology. You need curiosity, honesty and imagination.
What you take with you
🗳️ A vote in what happens next. You get access to everything the summit produces, and you vote on the decisions and outputs that come out of Paris. The Dispatch goes in with your voice in it. The answers come back to you.
🎓 A certificate of participation from Deeply Human Innovation and the Learning Planet Institute (UNESCO Category 2 Institute and UN University Hub).
🌱 A seat at the table after the summit. This day is the start, not the end. After Paris, we are launching the Deeply Human Youth Advisory Council: a group of young people who work directly with the experts, institutions and leaders behind the summit to decide what happens with the Dispatch and the report, and where this work goes next. Youth Day participants are the first to hear about it and the first invited to join.
