🔸 Part 1: "AI Cybersecurity: Red Teaming SLMs Before You Ship"
Polina maps the attack surface of small language models: the adversarial methods teams run into in production, from prompt injection and jailbreak framing to reasoning-chain exploits and refusal bypass. The map is drawn from Polina's study of 924 adversarial interactions across six open-weight small language models and 21 attack categories.
The session also covers the failure mode Polina says most teams miss: safety drift. A model can pass its safety tests before deployment and still get meaningfully worse once it's quantized for production. Polina runs a set of these attacks against a live Hugging Face model, so you see the failures happen.
