DeepStation Greece - AI Vehicle Diagnostics and the Future of Car Repair
Join us in Athens to hear how Dimitrios Thomaidis is building Carvisor AI, an AI-powered car sound diagnostics platform, from raw engine recordings to a working product.
You'll leave with practical lessons on taking an audio AI idea from prototype to a real product.
Speaker
Dimitrios Thomaidis
- Founder & Product Owner, Carvisor AI
- Product Engineer II, Cadence Design Systems
🔸 Listening to Cars
A car usually makes a noise before it fails, but turning that noise into a reliable diagnosis is a hard machine learning problem. Dimitrios walks through how Carvisor AI takes it on: the engine audio it learns from, the noisy conditions it has to survive, and the distance between a model that works in a notebook and one that holds up on the road.
🔸 What you'll take away
🔹 How to collect and label engine audio recorded in real-world conditions.
🔹 How to handle noisy, unpredictable conditions when the input is sound.
🔹 Why a model that works in a notebook doesn't always hold up on the road.
