12:00 PM – 6:00 PM — Open House

Come for any portion of the weekend, or stay for all of it.

Come and see a powerful exhibition of photographic portraits and stories honoring Americans who know that democracies survive only when individuals, often at great personal cost, choose duty over expedience and put country before political faction. Let us honor those who have demonstrated the moral and civic courage required in these challenging times.

About the artist: John Kaul is a multidisciplinary artist and documentary filmmaker whose work spans photography, film, kinetic sculpture, and public-interest storytelling. He has produced and co-produced several documentary films broadcast through Twin Cities PBS, and his photographic work has formed the basis of long-form projects including a portrait exhibition of Indigenous Women Water Protectors. Drawing on decades of experience in public policy, his current work focuses on documenting moral and civic courage and the responsibilities of citizens in a democracy.
