Josh Resnick is the Co-Founder and General Partner at OpenSky Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm in Los Angeles. He also manages his family office, Pure Imagination Brands, which holds a personal portfolio of over 50 companies.
Before becoming an investor, Resnick co-founded video game developer Pandemic Studios in 1998, which was later acquired by Electronic Arts for $860 million.
In 2012, he launched the luxury confections brand Sugarfina. His work has been recognized by Fast Company and Goldman Sachs. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School and a BA from Pomona College.
Michael Jones, General Partner at Science Inc., co-founded the venture fund and startup studio in 2011 to build and invest in transformative companies. His work has shaped a portfolio including Liquid Death, PlayVS, and Pray.com, and led to $3.7 billion in exits from companies like Dollar Shave Club, FameBit, and HelloSociety.
Before Science, Jones founded Userplane (acquired by AOL, where he became the youngest SVP) and served as CEO of MySpace.
His angel investments in companies like Scopely (acquired for $4.9B by Savvy Games), Maker Studios (acquired by Disney), and GoodReads (acquired by Amazon) have yielded over $6 billion in combined exit value.
