About Event

✨ Celebrate a Korean themed Friendsgiving with Designer Friends

We're celebrating Thanksgiving with a dinner party in Tribeca! Meet new and old friends over good Korean food and drinks from BigNorm.

There will be light ice breaker activities and prompts to help us get to know one another.

Space is limited to only 25 folks. We will all be seated at tables of 4-6 people with seating rotations at regular intervals.

Registration closes on Friday, 11/14.

Who is this for?

All senior designers (5+YoE) are welcomed. Priority will be given to folks who are not able to celebrate Thanksgiving with their loved ones this year.

Catering

Buffet catering and refreshments will be from BigNorm. The menu is still being finalized but there will be bibimbap, japchae, kalbi, soondubu, dumplings, and kimchijigae.

Soft drinks, beer, and wine will be served. Please feel free to bring your own preferred refreshments and/or liquor.

Schedule

5:30 PM - Doors open + get-to-know-each-other activities
6:30 PM - Dinner starts
8:30 PM - Dinner wrap up
9:00 PM - Doors close

Allergies & dietary requirements

While many of the options are gluten free, the prevalence of soy sauce and gochujang in Korean cuisine means that we can not guarantee a contact-less kitchen for folks with Celiac disease.

If your allergy is severe, please contact us to work out accommodations.

Location

We'll be in an elevator building located 5 minute walk from the A/C/E Canal St station. However, you may need to walk on an overpass with stairs to access the location from the Canal St subway stop.
