(date TBD) Desire, Connection and Consent - an introductory conscious erotic playshop
Expressing desire can be intensely vulnerable. We expose ourselves to rejection. We can so easily stake our (at least immediate) happiness on someone else’s response to our invitation. In that, we add enormous density to these moments.
And knowing and holding our boundaries is similarly fraught! Are we present enough in our bodies to know what we really want? Deeply ingrained parts of us want to please others and avoid hurting feelings.
And these dynamics feed on each other.
What would it be like if expressing our desires and boundaries were easeful? How would it feel to deeply embody safety in your erotic energy? This is available to all of us. Join us as we dive into desire, connection, and consent.
This event welcomes, and celebrates, our eros. When we feel deeply safe, our capacity for play and pleasure is enormously expanded. To support finding this felt safety, this container excludes touch on the genitals, breasts, and butt, as well as kissing. In the deep presence that this safety encourages, magic is possible.
Who is this for?
Would you like to feel more easeful and empowered in your boundaries? More confident in expressing desire? Would you like a deep sense of safety in your body as you feel erotic energy?
This playshop is intended for folks who have started a path of personal growth, embodiment, and/or spiritual evolution, and are interested in bringing more consciousness to their expression of eros and sexuality.
Event flow
In this interactive, embodied playshop, we’ll learn to feel our own embodied boundaries, and communicate them. We’ll explore expressing desire in a way that is weightless to those receiving it. And then we will get a chance to practice these tools in actual interactions.
How might you feel after
You can expect to feel more confident in your expression of desires and boundaries. Having practiced a way of being that is authentic and transparent, greater ease can be found in environments where there are potential romantic or sexual connections. Fluency in boundaries extends into many areas of life, including work, where people have shared feeling more empowered to say ‘no’ to unreasonable requests.
