Detroit Ecosystem Championship Day brings together founders, innovators, investors, corporate leaders, community builders, and emerging talent for a single day: August 21, 2026 from 2–8 PM at Michigan Central that celebrates the people shaping what's next. From intimate conversations with influential leaders to founder-to-founder networking and the city's most anticipated flag football competition, this is where business, community, culture, and connection collide.

THE DAY
Early Afternoon — Founder Fireside + Industry Meetups + Ice Cream Social/Networking (Doors 2:00 PM)
An afternoon of bold conversations and meaningful connections. An intimate fireside explores entrepreneurship, personal branding, resilience, visibility, and building a business while navigating life in the public eye, a candid dialogue about building a brand with intention, turning influence into impact, creating meaningful partnerships, and staying authentic through every stage of growth. Following the fireside, founders, investors, mentors, and ecosystem leaders connect over the Ecosystem Ice Cream Social and industry meetups built for authentic conversations and relationships that outlast the day.
Evening: Ecosystem Flag Football Championship (Doors, 4:30PM, 5:00 PM Kickoff)
Business cards down. Jerseys on. The flag football classic transforms traditional networking into an unforgettable experience where relationships are built through teamwork, competition, and community. Participants are drafted onto co-ed teams of founders, corporate leaders, investors, community partners, and ecosystem champions. Between games, the field comes alive with activations, food, and entertainment for players, attendees, and families.
AROUND THE FIELD
Game day is bigger than the game. Michigan Central comes alive with experiences for everyone: a Founder Marketplace of women-owned businesses, startups, and local entrepreneurs; a Slushy and Snack Bar; an Ice Cream Social gathering space; an Investor and Partner Lounge where sideline conversations turn into next steps; and live entertainment with a DJ, emcee, and music all day.

Six co-ed teams. Every corner of the ecosystem on one field: founders, investors, corporate leaders, government and civic leaders, students, and ecosystem builders.
HOW IT WORKS
First, grab your pass. All Access & evening pass guarantees a roster spot, with no team required and no experience needed. Next, day of you'll be drafted onto a co-ed team alongside founders, investors, corporate leaders, and community champions. Then play, connect, and win: pull on your official jersey and take the field, and enjoy the meetups, activations, food, and entertainment all around you.
All registrations are final. Tickets are non-refundable. Tickets may be transferred to another attendee up to 7 days before the event by contacting the organizer. If the event is postponed, all registrations will automatically transfer to the new date.
