What to Expect
Join us for a special weekend developer experience! We're long time San Diego developers, looking to foster a community of devs of all skill levels to have fun, network, and learn new things!
Connect
For this monthly meetup, we gather for lunch to introduce ourselves and enjoy complimentary food and drinks.
Inspire
After networking lunch, we start a series of presentations from members of the community to share interesting developer topics.
Build
Once presentations are finished, we break into groups to casually network, show off our projects and build together!

Laptops are encouraged. Should you be giving a presentation or want to share a project, your laptop is essential. We are developers, let’s build together

Our company is Freedom With AI LLC. We founded it mid-2023 when we saw the potential of AI changing every aspect of our personal and work lives. We left the corporate world and went all in. Three years in, has AI delivered us that freedom? Yes and No.
We started with AI content, thought about Advisory services, decided to build an inside-out product for early-stage entrepreneurs and recently landed on all three, feeding each other.
From playing with every early new AI tool - chatgpt, dall-e, midjourney, etc. - to deciding every week which Claude or GPT model is better for which part of the product workflow, from using AI to help us do our own hosting on a VPS to yelling at it for tunneling on user questions, from having to spend hours doing manual research to using Obsidian and Cursor as naturally as a quick conversation, from having a huge paycheck just talking about AI to starting from $0 building with AI - it has been a rollercoaster and that’s what we will share with you. You may not learn what to do, but we certainly hope you will learn what NOT to do as you start your entrepreneurial journey, even if it’s just on the side.
