About Event

Important Message

This event is no longer canceled! The issue wit the space is resolved!

What to Expect

Join us for a special weekend developer experience! We're long time San Diego developers, looking to fostering a community of devs of all skill levels to have fun, network, and learn new things!

Connect

For this monthly meetup, we gather for lunch to introduce ourselves and enjoy complimentary food and drinks.

Inspire

After networking lunch, we start a series of presentations from members of the community to share interesting developer topics.

Build

Once presentations are finished, we break into groups to casually network, show off our projects and build together!

Reminders

Please be courteous and respectful to others.

Laptops are encouraged. Should you be giving a presentation or want to share a project, your laptop is essential. We are developers, let’s build together

Feel free to ask our organizers for help on some code you're struggling with, if you are! We're happy to help where we can.

Showcases

Katrina Garcia + Andrew Nguyen - Fruitly: The Marketplace for Backyard Produce Fruitly is a local marketplace that helps people sell, trade, and give away produce grown in their own backyards.

Max Moon - Motif: Structured Semantic Memory for AI Motif is a memory system for AI designed to optimize retrieval of learned memories.

Ben Dalziel - Own Your Data: A better, cheaper DIY BI Stack Your data is scattered across a dozen tools, each one certain it has the interesting view. Pull it into a database you own and the interesting view turns out to be the one none of them could show you, for less than a single BI license.

Ali Al Talqni - Vocalized Vocalized is a study tool that allows you to automate your study prep by having you upload your syllabus or notes, and provides you with prompts that you reply to out loud off the top of your head. This is referred to as active recall and as you use this feature, the AI is able to spot exactly what you struggle with and provides study material for the students to use to mend these gaps.

Vesh Thakker - 50 Ants: Agentic Software Testing AI generates code faster than ever, but how do you maintain the quality of that code? 50 Ants tests everything from the users’ perspective without access to source code.

Brian Sonderen - Destruction Physics Simulating realistic building destruction in a brand new physics engine.

Luis Daniel - tillandsias: ephemeral idempotent cloud region, folded locally See https://tillandsias.org

Ahmet Basar - MindMapAI: Capture ideas. Connect them. Let AI expand. MindMapAI is an AI-powered tool designed for rapid prototyping and exploring new possibilities. Quickly map out ideas, visualize connections, and use AI to uncover hidden potential and turn raw thoughts into actionable concepts without losing your momentum.

Saaz Mahadkar - Bridge: AI-Native Technical Screening for the Post-LeetCode Era Pass/fail LeetCode never showed you how someone builds, and now AI passes it anyway. Bridge records how engineers actually work in their own environment, runs what they built, and asks them questions as they build.

Keith Menor - Pocket Lanes: Wii-style AR bowling with phones Turn any screen into a bowling alley. Grab your phone, join the game, and bowl! No consoles, controllers, or complicated setup required.
