Virtual Roundtable on Critical Infrastructure Resilience
CERRE’s Virtual Roundtable on Critical Infrastructure Resilience will bring together policy, regulatory, and industry voices to explore how regulation and security-of-supply planning can better reflect the realities of an increasingly electrified, interconnected, and fast-evolving energy system in Europe. The conversation will address needed resilience investments, cross-sector dependencies, and regional dynamics – with the aim of informing the European Commission’s forthcoming security of supply framework proposal as well as Member States’ initiatives in this area.
This roundtable will feature presentations of the first two issue papers of CERRE’s Forum Towards an Integrated Approach to Infrastructure and Market Resilience - on the revision of the EU’s security of supply framework in view of increased electrification and decarbonisation, as well as on climate resilience. Further papers will expand on the concept of resilience in cybersecurity, in supply chains, and regarding supply disruptions in the market.
