Rabbitholeathon: Follow Your Curiosity with ASUS, Douze à Deux & Notion @ McGill
When’s the last time you learned something outside of school or work and loved every second of it?
You know that thing that randomly lives rent-free in your brain? The question or niche topic you’ve always meant to look into, but never had the time because other priorities always came first?
Not for a grade. Not for your résumé. Just because your brain wouldn’t stop going down that random thought train.
That’s what Rabbitholeathon is all about.
McGill’s Arts & Science Undergraduate Society, Douze à Deux, and Notion are hosting a Rabbitholeathon: A half-day event dedicated to unapologetically following your most random curiosities.
Pick any niche topic that’s been quietly living in your head and spend an afternoon actually going down the rabbit hole - surrounded by other people doing the exact same thing.
We’re talking rabbit holes like:
The surprisingly dramatic history of fonts
The complete lore behind the Mandela Effect
Were cars a failure of modern city planning all along?
Why do AI models "hallucinate", and can we ever fully fix it?
Why the same four chords appear in so many pop songs
What would it take to reverse aging at the cellular level?
The underground fungal networks connecting entire forests
Why rigatoni holds sauce better than penne (scientifically)
The lost art of Victorian mourning jewelry
Serious, silly, scientific, or somewhere in between - whatever it is, it counts.
