Disability Zine Making Workshop (hybrid)
Make a Disability Zine for Disability Pride Month!
Gather with your fellow Disabled pals for a low-key evening of zinemaking to celebrate Disability Pride Month.
We’ll review some examples of zines about disability. Then we’ll write or draw our own disability zines. Topics for your zines might include an info zine on your disability, the importance of disability pride, or a little about your favorite Disability Justice principle. No experience necessary.
If it’s more accessible for you, feel free to bring a computer or iPad to work on. This event is hybrid! You can also join online. To attend virtually: Zoom link tk
Note: This event is for anyone who identifies as disabled, including those with chronic illness, neurodiversity, mental health disabilities, and intellectual/developmental disabilities.
Masks required for all events. More accessibility info here. Please make any other access requests as soon as possible by emailing the store at [email protected]
